Recipe hot christmas wine
To please the adults among us these Christmas holidays, warm up with this delicious mulled wine recipe! Spices and wine combine perfectly to make a comforting drink on these cold winter evenings. Watch out! This recipe contains alcohol, so consume in moderation!
Ustensils
- Casserole dish
- Strainer or sieve
- Suitable cover
Ingredients
- 75 cl full-bodied red wine
- 70 g of honey
- 1 orange (juice)
- Zeste d’orange
- Orange peel
- 2 cardamom seed
- 2 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 vanilla pod
- Small piece of ginger
- 1 gr crumble or 1 gr isolate
Decoration options :
- Orange slices or zest
- Cinnamon sticks
- Star anise or badian
Recipe
1. Heat the red wine in a saucepan with the honey.
2. Add to the wine a whole star anise, a cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom seeds, a small piece of ginger, the vanilla bean, the juice of one orange, the orange zest and the CBD crumble.
Open the vanilla bean and scrape out the vanilla seeds with the tip of a knife for more flavour.
3. Bring to the boil for 4 minutes. Turn off the heat and cover with a lid.
4. Let stand for 24 hours.
5. Warm it up at the last moment, pour with a strainer or a sieve chinois into the glasses.
6. Decorate each glass with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick for example before serving hot.
